Battlefield V Battle Royale – Gameplay And System Requirements

After the success of Battle Royale video games “Fortnite” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” the developer of Battlefield V “EA DICE” announced that the newest games in their series would feature their own Battle Royale Modes, in an effort to cash in on the trend.

On October 24, 2018, DICE briefed what will be included in Battlefield V on launch day, and how new features and improvements will be added. DICE plans to roll out the World War II shooter’s content in three separate phases using the game’s live service known as Tides of War. Each new chapter in the Tides of War will add new game modes with lots of new maps, weapons, achievements and several addictive enhancements to the game.

The first phase of the Battlefield V is known as Overture that will begin with the game’s release. The first phase of the game is a bit similar in which players will be able to play single-player campaigns, battle on different multiplayer maps, and collect new power-ups, achievements, and vehicles. The 2nd phase called Lightning Strikes that will be launched in Jan 2019 in which players enjoy coop multiplayer missions and the classic squad conquest mode. The 3rd and the most enjoyable chapter, Trial by Fire will announce the Firestorm Battle Royale mode and a new map in spring 2019.

Battlefield V: Battle Royale Gameplay

Battlefield V’s Battle Royale mode called Firestorm that will deliver a unique Battle Royale experience. Just like most of the multiplayer game modes, Firestorm is limited to 64 players with four-player teams, but the map will be the biggest in any Battlefield game thus far. In this mode, the aim of each team is to eliminate all the opponent teams in order to win the battle. During the gameplay, each player is able to freely move in the game world, explore the indoor and outdoor environment, collection weapons, and power-ups, communicate with their team members and kill all the opponent team players as far as possible. Beyond fighting other players to survive, players will also be able to clear specific goals on the Battle Royale map in order to access more valuable achievements that help the players during the match.

While Firestorm is one of the expected modes to Battlefield V, the game looks to have a well amount of content for players to dive into on release. With a roadmap of updates spanning into March 2019, early adopters will also have a clear idea of what’s on the horizon.

Battlefield V Release Date

Battlefield V has been launched on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on 20 November 2018. Players who subscribe to EA Origin Access Premier was able to enjoy the full game on 9th November, while EA Access players was able to play the game with their play first trial. Those players who pre-order the deluxe edition was gain early access on November 15th.
