Free-Sync is an alternative to G-Sync and it functions as basically the same features as G-Sync but is a technology adopted by AMD and works only with the chips of the brand, as in the case of G-Sync and NVIDIA. The difference here is the distribution of this technology, as the name itself says it is Free, of free use and adaptation, for this reason, the monitors with this technology end up being cheaper, in comparison to those that to NVIDIA license, that makes it much more expensive due to royalties.
